Incident Background
India has launched missile strikes ( Operation Sindoor) on Pakistani territory, targeting locations in Kotli, Bahawalpur, Muridke, Bagh, and Muzaffarabad. Pakistan claims these strikes hit civilian areas, including mosques, resulting in 26 Pakistani casualties and 46 injuries. India asserts it targeted militant infrastructure.

Claim of Shutting Down Aircraft
Pakistan’s military claims to have shot down five Indian jets which includes three Rafael Jets, one MiG-29 and one SU plane, in response to the India’s midnight missile strikes. The Pakistan Air Force confirmed the downing of the Indian jets, while all Pakistani Air Force aircraft remain safe, according to PTV News.
