The strikes come amid heightened tensions between the two nations, following a recent militant attack in occupied Kashmir’s Pahalgam. The incident has sparked concerns about the potential for further escalation, given both countries’ nuclear capabilities.

According to reports, Pakistan’s military responded swiftly, with all air force jets scrambled to respond to the threat. The ISPR stated that the Indian missiles were not allowed to intrude into Pakistan’s airspace, but the incident has nonetheless raised concerns about the safety and security of the region.
