The June–October 2025 edition of Global Youth Voices, presents a collection of youth-driven research and analytical commentaries on the most pressing global and regional challenges shaping today’s security, politics, technology, climate, and energy landscapes. This quarterly special edition brings together emerging scholars from diverse academic backgrounds to offer critical, evidence-based, and policy-relevant perspectives.
This volume features in-depth discussions on U.S.–Iran nuclear escalation and non-proliferation, nuclear deterrence debates in South Asia, the regulation of armed drones, climate crisis and environmental governance in Pakistan, democratic dimensions of carbon taxation, gendered impacts of climate change in Afghanistan, Pakistan’s energy security and nuclear power, the U.S.–China rivalry in Artificial Intelligence, the Ukraine war and NATO’s evolving role, and shifting regional alignments such as Indo-Israeli strategic cooperation.
Through these contributions, Global Youth Voices reflects GSI’s mission to promote intellectual rigor, amplify young scholarly voices, and strengthen informed dialogue on global peace and security.
